AI TRAINING FOR BUSINESS

n8n automation workshop for business teams

Finn mapping an automated workflow with boxes and arrows on a whiteboard.

EUR 180

per person · 6 hours · minimum 5 people

Your team copies data, sends the same updates and moves work between systems manually. In this practical workshop, participants build an n8n workflow from trigger to tested output, connect business tools and add AI where it improves the process. They leave understanding how to design, debug and hand over automations responsibly.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Three habits that turn a manual process into a reliable workflow.

Each one is explained, demonstrated, then practiced on a prepared business case. We discuss your team's own tasks as we go, so people leave able to apply it to their own work.

1

Choose the right process before building

Automation fails when people start with a tool instead of a clear process, leaving the steps, inputs, decisions and desired result undefined.

We map one repeated workflow, identify its trigger, logic and actions, and decide clearly which of those decisions should always stay with a person.

Your team starts with a useful automation candidate rather than an impressive demo nobody needs.

2

Build the workflow from trigger to result

An n8n workflow is a chain of nodes that receives data, works with it and passes it on. The hard part is what each node receives and returns.

We build a working flow, connect tools, map fields and add branching, using the course example: capture a lead, classify it, record it and notify the team.

Participants can follow the data through the workflow and change the process without starting again.

3

Test failures before the workflow goes live

A workflow that succeeds once is not yet reliable. Missing fields, duplicate records, expired credentials and odd AI output will eventually appear.

We inspect past executions, test edge cases, add validation and error paths, and define what should be retried, logged or sent to a person.

The team leaves knowing how to improve and hand over an automation, not just how to press execute.

LEARN THE TOOL ITSELF

Build an automation you can understand and improve

We cover the main parts needed to design, connect, test and operate a practical n8n workflow.

Workflow canvas

How triggers, logic and actions connect from the first event to the result

Logic and branching

Route different cases through conditions, filters and clear repeatable paths

Triggers and schedules

Start workflows from forms, app events, webhooks, files or a defined schedule

AI inside a workflow

Use an approved model for extraction, classification or drafting when needed

Data mapping and expressions

Move the right fields between nodes and transform data when formats differ

Testing and operations

Inspect runs, handle errors, protect credentials and prepare for handover

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Is this the right session for your team?

Who it is for

  • Teams already using AI, or about to start

  • Business users with no technical background

  • Mixed levels in the same room, which usually helps

  • Managers who want one shared method rather than individual habits

If you want to solve an inefficiency with AI rather than build it yourself, talk to us about AI solutions instead.

HOW WE TEACH

Learn it, then do it.

Every topic ends with a practical challenge. Watching someone use AI well is not enough. You need to try it, find what does not work and improve it yourself.

teach-01-show.jpg

We show the technique

A short explanation of the topic and a live demonstration. No long theory.

teach-02-try.jpg

You try it yourself

You apply the same method to a realistic business task. This is the part that makes it useful

teach-03-fix.jpg

We fix it together

When it doesn't work first time, we look at it as a group and fix it. You keep the working version

Why it is built this way: people remember what they did, not what they watched.

LENGTH

6 hours

With a lot of hands-on exercises

WHERE

BCN or online

In person across Catalonia, or online anywhere. We travel further on request

GROUP SIZE

5 to 20 people

One in-company team at a time. Works best under 15. Above 20 we suggest splitting the group.

LANGUAGES

EN / ES / NO

English, Spanish or Norwegian. Catalan coming.

What participants bring

Bring your own laptop and access to an n8n workspace prepared for the session. Depending on the exercise, administrator approval or test credentials may be needed to connect company tools. We confirm the setup before the workshop.

Optional: bring one process that repeatedly moves information between two or more tools, plus anonymized example inputs and the expected output.

Tell us what your team does and we'll confirm the format and the date. Not sure this is the right session? Describe the work and we'll tell you honestly. We usually reply within one business day.

Common questions

What is n8n?

n8n is a visual workflow automation platform. It connects tools, moves and transforms data, applies rules and can include AI when a process needs it.

Do participants need automation experience?

No. The workshop starts with the basic trigger, logic and result model, then builds step by step. Familiarity with everyday business tools is enough.

Do participants need coding skills?

No. The core workflow is built visually. We introduce data structures, expressions and simple technical concepts only where they help participants understand and modify the flow. Coding is optional.

What do participants build?

Participants build an end-to-end workflow that receives a form submission, classifies it, records the data and notifies the right people. We then extend the method to richer examples involving documents and AI.

Will we use AI in the automation?

Yes, where it adds value. The workshop shows the difference between fixed rules and AI-based steps, and uses AI for tasks such as extraction, classification or drafting. Not every automation needs AI.

Can we connect our own tools and use our own data?

Usually, yes. We agree the integrations and permissions in advance and use test accounts or anonymized data where appropriate. Prepared business cases are available when company systems cannot be connected during training.

Do participants need a paid n8n plan?

Participants need access to an n8n workspace prepared for the session. The exact plan depends on whether you use n8n Cloud or a self-hosted instance and which integrations are required. We confirm the setup before the workshop.

Will the workflow be ready for production?

The session produces a tested learning workflow or prototype. Production deployment may require additional security, monitoring, permissions and integration work. BRACAI can scope implementation separately.

How many people can attend?

The workshop is for 5 to 20 people and works best with about 15 or fewer. For larger groups, we recommend separate sessions so everyone receives practical support.

Where is the workshop delivered?

BRACAI delivers the workshop in person in Barcelona and across Spain, or online for teams anywhere in Europe. We travel further on request, with travel costs agreed in advance.

Do participants receive a certificate?

Yes. Each participant receives a certificate of completion, and the organization receives an attendance record.
